Implementation of pedagogical ideas of V. O. Sukhomlinskyi to work with children with special educational needs

Abstract

The article describes the concepts and goals of inclusive education, the peculiarities of creating an inclusive educational environment, ensuring the effectiveness and quality of education, the use of forms, methods and technologies that take into account the individual capacities of children with special needs. The pedagogical heritage of V.A. Sukhomlynsky world-famous Ukrainian teacher-innovator, a vivid representative of humanistic pedagogy, his ideas for teaching children with difficulties in mastering the educational material at the level with peers. In the heritage of V.A. Sukhomlinsky singled out the ideas of child-centeredness and the individualization of instruction as ensuring the consideration of the special needs of each child. The main tasks the scientist set himself in working with children with special educational needs, in particular enriching the intellectual and emotional life of children, relying on theirpotential opportunities, the formation of cognitive interests and the use of creative manual labor as animportant means of development are revealed. The article describes the important correctional principles that VA Sukhomlinsky in his work with children with special educational needs, among them: the principle of comprehensive study of children; the principle of personal-oriented individual approach; the principle of differentiation; principle of humane approach. It is proved, the main democratic idea of VA. Sukhomlinsky, that all children are valuable and active members of society.
